Conclusions

Once students have answered the questions and have developed the concept map, have acquired new knowledge about this subject, and can easily perform healthy behaviors and this would signal that they have assimilated the knowledge properly.

In addition, the development of the task contributes to the development of learner autonomy, to search for information themselves, and construction of the map will help the assimilation of future knowledge.

Healthy Habits

To stay healthy we must consider a few simple rules, called habits. Some of these are:

- Proper nutrition: We need to lead a healthy and varied diet that includes adequate amounts of all foods. We should also avoid sweets, fats and bakery products.

- Hours of stable food: It is advisable to make five meals a day. It is very important not to skip breakfast.

- Proper hygiene: Hands should be washed with soap and water before eating, brushing your teeth after every meal and shower daily.

-Relaxation proper: We should sleep at least nine hours a day and even more if we perform physical exercise.

- Breathing clean air: We should not stay indoors with smoke or with many people.

- Make exercise: It helps improve our health and strengthen our bones and muscles.

Types of diseases

The diseases are classified into two groups according to the causes that produce them:

• Infectious diseases: The cause harmful viruses and microorganisms such as bacteria. A turn can be:

- Infectious: The spread from one infected person to another healthy person.
- Noninfectious: Not transmitted from sick to healthy individuals.

• Non-infectious diseases: the produce different causes: injuries, imbalances in the diet, the failure of some organ...

Infection Prevention

We can prevent infection if we follow our habits related to hygiene:

• Disinfect wounds to prevent microorganisms from passing into the blood.
• Wash our hands before eating or handling any food and above all, wash the food to be consumed raw.
• Avoid sharing drinking glasses and silverware. Nor should you cough or sneeze with other people.
• Avoid walking barefoot in swimming pools, changing rooms and other places with high humidity.

Vaccines

Another way to prevent infectious diseases caused by viruses or microorganisms is through vaccination.

Vaccination consists of introducing into the body of a healthy person the pathogen that causes the disease. The organism can be dead or inactive.

Once inside your body, your body recognizes as foreign and reacts to it producing some substances. These substances prepare you to prevent the occurrence of an infection if the microorganism or virus is naturally enters our body.
The vaccines can be injected or drinks.

The activity that we must take is the development of a conceptual map that reflects a healthy lifestyle, habits to prevent and treat infectious diseases ans types of diseases.
